I am Harrison Birdsey, a Software Engineering student based in Kent, UK, dedicated to architecting powerful digital systems and high-impact solutions. My journey began at age ten, fueled by a fascination with how computers work; by fourteen, that curiosity had evolved into a serious pursuit of building complex, self-driven projects.
I began my programming journey in Python. I undertook lots of projects varying from small games to chatbots. I spent a lot of time using discord.py which taught me a lot about event driven programming before I even knew the term.
I eventually began to take JavaScript and TypeScript seriously due to the halt in development of discord.py. This set me up well for later on in my journey as a developer when I began tinkering with various web frameworks.
I also enjoy tinkering with hardware. I have probably taken apart every computer in my house at least once, and even built my own keyboard! Having an understanding of how electronics work allows me to take other angles when designing solutions.
Currently, I manage and maintain several community-focused platforms that support up to 200 concurrent users. I thrive on solving intricate technical challenges, wielding a versatile stack that includes Java, C#, and TypeScript to bring innovative ideas to life.
